BEIJING, Nov. 27 -- A Y-20 transport aircraft of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) departed from an airport in central China on Tuesday for the Republic of Korea (ROK) to bring back the 11th batch of Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs' remains from the ROK. The ROK side will hand over the remains and belongings of 43 CPV martyrs to China on Thursday.
北京11月27日電 11月26日,中國人民解放軍空軍一架運20軍用大型運輸機從華中某機場起飛,赴韓執(zhí)行接運第11批在韓國志愿軍烈士遺骸回國任務。韓方將于11月28日向中方移交43位在韓中國人民志愿軍烈士遺骸及相關遺物。
Since 2015, the PLAAF has dispatched planes to the ROK every year to undertake the mission of bringing back CPV martyrs' remains from the ROK. Since 2020, the task has been performed by the Y-20 transport aircraft of the PLAAF. Airmen performing this year's mission have carefully arranged the cabin of the plane to ensure that the highest standards were met to welcome the remains of the martyrs back home.
2015年以來,空軍每年都派出飛機赴韓執(zhí)行志愿軍烈士遺骸接運任務。自2020年起,空軍開始派出運20執(zhí)行此項任務。執(zhí)行此次任務的官兵對機艙內部進行精心布置,確保以最高標準迎接烈士遺骸回國。
